It's Friday again? Where did the week go? It's always Friday. A week is like a day. Last weekend, we visited Ed, our son, who has been renting a house in Park City. He was there several weeks and I thought we might not see him at all since he won't see you unless you're ABSOLUTELY CLEAN from Covid. His first question is "Who have you been with in the last week?"
We passed his Covid testing last week and sat outside on a mammoth terrace where we were not six feet apart, but twelve feet apart. He loves Park City and wants to end up there, so we looked at houses and he bought us lobster sandwiches from Freshies, which is our new favorite take out. There's one in SLC on 9th South and 3rd East. They advertise themselves as the best lobster sandwich in the world. Tom and I were skeptical having lived in New England and the Maritimes, but it actually is the BEST. Tons of lobster on a toasted Boston bun, which is not too much bread. This is what makes it perfect: less bun than lobster, basil, and plenty of butter to pour over it. Expensive, but cheaper than flying to Maine.
What else? Oh yes, I ate a whole chocolate cake in a day. It was only one tier, so that might count as half a cake. This was after my physical exam where I learned I wasn't close to having diabetes. Therefore, the cake. Also lowered cholesterol and blood pressure. Obviously, I haven't been eating badly enough!
