When it comes to having friends, I have an embarrassment of riches. The pic below is of a "gang" of women who have been together since high school. We meet once a month for lunch and are now zooming to catch up. I have more and more appreciation for people I have known since childhood. There are others I see or hear from regularly but no pictures.
New friends are from art class, poetry group and just lately, there is Audrey, who I meet walking the halls for exercise. We instantly chatted each other up and I know she has lived in various places in California, but most recently, she lived in France, which she loved. Then she caught her foot in a grate and toppled over, breaking bones galore. Her son flew over to get her and brought her back to Salt Lake because he lives here. But after three years, she is ready to move on. Don't know what her son thinks of this. She is well into her eighties. "It's so boring here!" she exclaims. "I think I'd like to live in Vancouver!"
A girl after my own heart.
After seeing my aging Veronica Lake look, I had my hair cut.
