Reading

This is what I'm reading right now and it is fascinating. His discussion on materialism has my head whirling. My favorite question: Is knowledge by definition explainable, or is there such a thing as unexplainable knowledge?

I read the first book of ¨The Hunger Games" last week as did several others in my family. I enjoyed the first book and am now looking for a free copy of the second book. I think even Tom would like this one.

Someone in church said that Jeremiah was the prophet who taught us how to live in bondage. That interested me, because I think most of us do live under bondage of one kind or another . So I've been reading what Jeremiah has to say beside his incessant ranting and raving against the Isrealites, who don't much want to hear him. I'll let you know when I find it.

Our living room is close to actually looking like a living room now. My goal is to have it comfortable and ready for company by the weekend.

The study is going to take longer than that.

  1. Of course there's such thing as unexplainable knowledge! You know what it feels like to birth a baby. Now try to explain it to Tom. You're welcome. Love, Heidi (Sarah's Heidi)

I feel like I have been living under a log, having never heard of this guy.

    Must peruse the bookshelves...

    Thanks for your blog.
