The Exit Pageantry

While the choir sings, we await the bride and groom, who will parade out to "Pomp and Circumstance." Ahh, here are the trumpets!

And here they come together down the steps, down the aisle clasping hands. The red carpet lies on black and white marble tiles--about my favorite combination in the whole world.

Now they come out the doors and the crowd goes mad and the bells return (they're going to ring for three hours).

A 1902 black carriage pulled by shiny black horses wait for them in the street. They get in and are slowly riding to Buckingham Palace. They wave to the crowd. The look resplendent. It's really lovely. Kate and Andrew have incredible poise. Fabulous.
