As I lay sleeping

As I was falling asleep, I thought, I am not telling enough lies.  Lying is an art form and should be nurtured. Being a sober and serious person can be a real snooze.

  1. Someday I should tell you about the time when I was a teenager and called a male stripper that I'd read about in a national magazine like Time or Newsweek and who worked in a place just up the road from me. The story I told him about being a fan of his rolled off my tongue as though every word was the honest truth. It was a little disconcerting actually. I also wonder why when I talk to people on airplanes I tell them about actually true stuff. It would be way more entertaining to fabricate different backstories in situations like that.
