Today was the first day you could apply for Covid shots. It took Tom three hours to get an appointment with the Health Department. 90,000 people called in and the whole system went down for awhile. This is for people over seventy. The woman asked Tom if his wife was pregnant. Tom said, "Now that would be a miracle!" February 16 is our day. I see a light at the end of this tunnel, and it isn't death.
If you're still thinking of beginning a diet for the New Year, I suggest Weight Watcher's, the purple plan. Potatoes are a free food. You don't get as many points, but you don't need them except for yogurt and/or butter. Fabulous. I could eat like this forever.
