Even before Covid 19, I travelled the internet looking for houses. This one fills all the requirements. It's a colonial house in New England in a town with fewer than 500 people in it. The church with a steeple is just down the street. The park is one block over (where they hold the craft fair each year).
I have never liked anything more than a center hall colonial. So prim. So meticulously symmetrical. So 1776 (when this town originated). And I don' think I've ever loved a section of this country more than New England with its awesome weather (average snowfall in this town in December is 21 inches). Same in January and so on.
Tom had a professor in Cambridge who had his summer house in Peacham, which is why I come back here occasionally. It's a three hour drive to Boston. It's a ten hour drive to Pittsburgh where I have blood relatives.
