Medical maladies

One of my sons has had stomach aches, and he went to the doctor. His medical report said he had "burdened bowels." Really? That's real medical jargon? I wouldn't tell my mother that I had burdened bowels. It's not an image she wants in her head.

This reminds me when my father received a medical report that said he had had his ovaries removed. My father had a hysterectomy.

The best is when Dr. Mengele told me on my 74th birthday that I could die at any time.  He died in his fifties. I'm still here.  Guess what? I miss him. I miss him a lot. It turns out you miss the irritating people in your life as much as you miss your loved ones. Go figure.
