Yesterday morning, I dried my hair and decided to part my hair on the right side instead of the left and my hair looked fuller. It looked great. The only problem is that during the day I'm used to moving my bangs from left to right rather than right to left.
Do you part your hair on the right or left or in the middle? And why? Do you know why?
When I part my hair, I part it on the right because my mom is left handed--and that's how she did it when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteI periodically switch sides to mix things up a bit. I have cowlicks on both sides of my head which just seem to create complications no matter how I part my hair. Pretty much I feel like my hair is always a mess.
ReplyDeleteA hairstylist once told me that everyone has a "happy" side of the face. To find yours, hold a sheet of paper in front of one side and then the other. Which side naturally looks more lifted, angled up and out? That's your happy side. You should part your hair on that side to emphasize it. I'm not saying it's the gospel truth, it's just what she said. Fortunately for me, I was doctrinally sound.
ReplyDeleteMy happy side is the side I changed it to. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI part it on the side that has fewer blemishesp. Today its parted on my left. Sometimes after I blow dry my hair I switch and it just looks better, as if it changed its mind. Or at least changed mine.
ReplyDeleteI used to part my hair straight down the middle. Like Cher! Because it was the 70's! But now I part my hair center left because I like my hair to match my politics whenever possible.
ReplyDeleteI part my hair on the left. That eyebrow behaves better and my teeth aren't as crooked on that side. It's a rewards system I suppose.
