My New Year's resolution is to appreciate my life each day and to keep the M&M machine
filled.
Maybe I'll resolve to go with the bleak mid-winter this year, without actually being bleak.
Maybe I'll buy my own microdermabrasion machine on e-bay.
Tomorrow, I'm going to play TICKET TO RIDE with people I love.
There's always something to look forward to. Even in January.
Happy New Year, friends and piglets. Enjoy being yourselves.
Oh well, you don't HAVE to take the tree down. You could leave it up. All year!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the m&ms.
Enjoy warm red blankets.
I love Ticket to Ride, or as we call it in my family, The Train Game.
Happy New Year.
Happy New Year Louise! I look forward to reading your blog all year long!
ReplyDeleteMy five-year-old decorated our Christmas tree--by herself. The other six people in our family couldn't get our act together. I wasn't even home when she did it, but I left the box of ornaments for her to find when she got home from school.
ReplyDeleteI'm probably out of luck for taking the thing down. I'm in no hurry.
Happy New Year!
I am in mad nesting mode. I've thrown out nearly every possession we own. My tree hit the curb on Christmas night. I'd be happy to fly over and take down your tree. Expectant mothers have superhuman strength. Save me some M&M's :) xxoo
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, I remember that pre-delivery hyper energy. I'd love to have me some of that.
ReplyDeleteI assumed that to "play ticket to ride" with people you love involved some sort of Partridge Family-esque musical get together. I wondered what instrument you would play, who would sing melody and harmony, and whether that particular Beatles song has a special meaning on New Year's day. New Year's resolution #8: get more current on board games.
