Catherine Zeta-Jones is just the young Elizabeth Taylor. I agree with Rian that Grace Kelly is way up high on the list as is Catherine Deneuve (see above). This is the way I would like to look.
No, I don't think Natalie Portman is beautiful. She's only pretty. I wouldn't put her on my list at all. Jennifer Connelly, just pretty.
Yes to Rita Hayworth. Yes yes yes. Yes to Audrey Hepburn.
I will rework the list. Dividing them into Beautiful and Pretty Like Your Sister. I will alphabetize them. That's the way I'll spend my Sabbath.

The closest complement you give is saying that Catherine Zeta Jones is "just" a young Elizabeth Taylor. Are there any younger generation actresses that you find beautiful?

ReplyDeleteI grew up on National Velvet, I've always thought she was lovely. Hollywood sometimes confuses classic beauty with good grooming. There is a difference.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw Elizabeth Taylor in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", I decided that she was one of the most beautiful women--ever. I also have to agree with you on Grace Kelley and Audrey Hepburn. In my opinion, these women define beauty.
