My sister, Janie and I, are taking a Spanish class, and then we'll go to Ecuador and scare the spit out of ourselves. So the complete list is 1) knit socks, 2) watercolor and #3 learn to speak Spanish.
Already I'm thinking I've overloaded myself, because I'm also teaching two composition classes.
When will I sit and stare into space? I need lots of empty space time. I'm not one of those energy bunnies that keeps on going. I flop into sloughs of despair. I snivel and whine. I gnash my teeth and dribble saliva down my chin.
And I don't believe those people who say that if you do something for three weeks then it is a habit for life. If that were true, I'd still be dancing to the oldies in front of Richard Simmons.
Instead, I'm lying on my bed wishing I had another pint of ice cream to eat.
Spanish is useful. I like your list. I'll purchase a painting from you. I don't wear a lot of sock, you know Arizona and all.
ReplyDeleteYour humor gets me every time!
ReplyDeleteI need lots of empty space too. To all you scrapbookers, craft makers, book writes, marathon runners, what's the matter with you?
I like the latest quote. It sounds like you have to be one of the coolest people in the world to be a Plummer.
Loved this.
ReplyDeleteYou're teaching? And where are you and Janie taking Spanish?
Busy is good, but daydreams are better.
ReplyDeleteand where are you teaching...and when are you teaching...and ...and why haven't you mentioned this before...and
