Thank you, blogger friends

Thank you for responding to the question, "What makes life worth living?" Blogger friends make my life worth living.

Tom strung lights, and I decorated the tree today. We drove out to Hobby Lobby through humongous holiday traffic, stopped to say hello to Charles and Erica and family and made our way home via State Street. Traffic thick all the way into town. Worse downtown. Families and strollers blocked the intersections.

"Go back to your damned suburbia where you came from." I said this aloud in the car. I said this after an absolutely marvelous day. Which just goes to show you that Nasty Louise can not be stuffed down despite glorious holiday cheer.

I'm feeling much better now.

  2. I wish I could have heard that talk in person! I wish I could hear you say anything in person for that matter. I'm such a fan!

  3. I think Louise said her talk is on the 18th, so we fans have to wait until next week to hear her profound words of great wisdom.

At least Louise said the "D" word in the car. One time the Bishop shook my husband's hand at church and asked how things were going. Rob replied,"It's a bit..." and trailed off the last word. The Bishop's eyes got big. The next day the Bishop's wife called and invited us to dinner. (We were young newlyweds.) The Bishop took Rob out back to BQ and I stayed with his wife. She gently questioned how life was going. We were so embarrassed!
Lesson learned: Never talk to anyone with authority at church after you just finished 36 grueling hours of work, school and test taking with no sleep.
