Years ago, I went to see Les Miserables on Broadway. I hated it. The whole world loved Les Miserables, not me. I thought it was sentimental and corny.
Well--I did like "Master of the House" and that red flag.
Last weekend we went to see a community theater (high school version) of Les Mis with a gifted young cast. I was moved. I turned to Tom, "I must have been dead inside when we saw this on Broadway."
"You were," he said.
Sorry.
Is it Confessionals Week?
ReplyDeleteI love this sequence of posts. I know there's things I need to apologize for. This is a great exercise.
ReplyDeleteI saw "The Lion King" in London and hated every minute of it, including the fantastic costumes, much to the horror of my sister.
ReplyDeleteBut I am not sorry.
ReplyDeleteHave you been called to some thing Louise and are following in the footsteps of SWK?
