When you're old, will you be a fashionista?

Old women don't have to look like your mother's granny anymore, in case you haven't heard.  We can wear color, tattoos, army boots, tea shirts.  We can cut our bangs VERY short.

I'm all for this, of course, but this woman posed to look like a paranoid schizophrenic cornered in a padded cell, wearing her brother's boots, doesn't quite do it for me.  Why does she look so defensive? Is she looking at a rat?

Fashionistas need confidence like this babe: She's got a great black and turquoise thing going, a boa, cowboy boots, terrific sunglasses and she has attitude.  Attitude changes the world.  It changes your life.

Although I think she can pull that leg down now.  CAN she pull that leg down?

  1. Younger people will NOT realize how hysterically funny this post is! Love it!

  2. Tea Hee! Love this. In the first photo, the ring on her index finger gives me pause. And yes, I have faith (stumbling faith) the second lady can and WILL pull her leg down. I can picture you masterfully pulling off such an outfit. Could you WALK in those boots?

  3. What? No purple hair, support hose, and elastic waisted pants?

  4. Rat-looking woman's bangs are too short. Not even third-graders should have third-grade bangs. I think it's worse than blue hair. Blue sunglasses, on the other hand, rock.
