If you're happy and you know it, say something.

Tom and I are feeling content today, pleased with ourselves, our home, our pictures on the walls, the views out the window and the box of Orange Sticks we just ate. Actually, he ate most of it. I'm dieting. Anyway, if you're happy and you know it, you should say it aloud, or write it down. Make a note. Say a thank you to the universe. Sing a song.

It's not as if we can even stand contentment for too long. After awhile, you just want to commit a small crime--not a felony--a misdemeanor, maybe. Or say a swear word in front of a small child, who then repeats to his parents never to be unlearned again.

I had to google misdemeanors, because I couldn't think of any. Getting caught with drugs is one. I'd have to learn where to find them first. If you steal over $500 but not more than $1500 is a misdemeanor. What if you steal $350? How would you steal $350 anyway. Pickpocketing? Stealing someone's jar of quarters?

Trespassing is a misdemeanor. It might be fun to walk from here to Sandy through people's backyards, climbing fences and getting stuck in a prickly bush. If you go naked, that's another misdemeanor. Wear a mask. No one will recognize you.
