Today I'm closeting myself to write the wedding ceremony.  I have notes and quotes but no final draft.

Today is Edmund's birthday. He is 45. We celebrate Friday night. I'm going to call him Edmund for the rest of my life. It worked the first 14 years.

Today my bed linens are clean.

Today we're eating breakfast at McDonald's. Maybe all week.

Today I will probably not finish Plato's Phaedo. It argues for a soul.

Today the sun is shining. Everything is shining.

  1. To answer your question from a post or two back, and which I think fits nicely with this one of today: in my best moments, I am a physicalist. All things are material and there is no difference between eternity and right now.
